Good News everyone. I have recently reviewed my scores on the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT) and have passed. I received an 88 and 72 in the pilot and navigator portions respectively. Ya, it doesn't really mean much to me either, but apparently, its not too bad considering that I have no real experience with flying planes. I am currently talking with a few representatives of different programs for college students looking to go into the Air Force, but have made no sure decision on what I will do.

I have heard back from Oregon State. They said that they were waiting for my transcript from BYUI. I told them that I don't have one because it is my first semester here, so they are going to process my application now. My math class from BYUH may not fill the math requirements for a transfer student, and if that is the case, they will wait for my transcript for this semester at BYUI, which would mean that I wouldn't know if I am accepted till about 3 days until the semester starts. Not really sure how that would work out, but they never said there would be a problem with that. But now thinking about it, the day after I completed my application back in October I called and asked about the transcript from BYUI and if it would be a problem, and they said it wouldn't, but it was. Nothing ever goes as planned I guess, and hopefully things will work out

For those interested I went on a date last night with a woman named JudyKay Drake. I say woman because she is like 26, and graduated from BYUI last year. She is about 5 foot nothing, and has long dark hair. She is from a very large family of 10, just like us, and is the seventh sibling as well. We went bowling and then got some ice cream. I bowled a 153 which wasn't too bad considering I haven't bowled in over 2 years. I found my touch at the end. The first few frames were pathetic, and she was actually beating me in the 5th like 57 to 56. I jokingly blamed my poor performance, and she went and grabbed me a 12 pound ball to replace my 14 pounder. Obviously I used it, and nothing really changed till about the 8th frame, when I spared, and then got into the Thanksgiving spirit in the ninth and tenth frames, but missed the 4 bagger on my last throw by a pin. She almost broke 100 but followed her spare in the ninth frame with a gutter ball, and a 1 pin throw. It was fun, she was a very nice girl, and I was a complete gentleman. The date ended in a hug, and a good night ... ya, a good night. haha. ( I think it was because I missed the 4 bagger )
